My First Blog Post
Hello! My name is Abby Johnson, I am a freshman at Linn-Benton Community College. I am taking Photojournalism because I am looking into becoming a journalist. However photojournalism intrigued me because I figured that even if I change my major and want to look into something else, this class would still be helpful to me and it would be a fun experience. I haven't had much experience with photography or photojournalism, but as a kid I would take pictures all the time wherever I went. It was a big passion of mine, and it is still something I find very interesting. I am hoping that this class will help me develop some skills with the camera and creates some insight into how to be a good journalist. Three goals I have for this class is to make friends, shoot interesting and introspective pictures, and learn more about photojournalists and their pictures.
